Making a booking with Wild Queen Discover (the Company) is taken as acceptance by the customer of these Terms and Conditions.
Booking a safari or tour is an interactive process. After clients contact us with an idea of what they want, we engage in discussions to finalize the details and recommend the best package. This ensures that the client books the right tour for their needs.
Once the details are confirmed and the client is ready to proceed, we will provide payment details for a deposit. Upon receiving the deposit, we will confirm the booking.
Clients will then be issued forms to complete, which will include details such as inbound flights and dietary restrictions. Our Registration Form allows limited special requests, and we will do our best to accommodate them. However, any requests made outside the Registration Form do not form part of the contract.
The Company reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion before final confirmation.
Once a booking is made and the deposit is received, we guarantee the quoted price, except in the following cases:
Estimated price increases may apply if the tour is booked more than a year in advance. Changes in government-regulated fees, such as national park fees, VAT, or other charges, will be passed on to the client. If suppliers impose additional fuel costs or exchange rate surcharges, the client must cover these costs.
Payments are scheduled as follows:
Camping Safari Bookings require a 10% deposit. Lodge Safari Bookings require a 40% deposit. Tailor-Made Bookings require a deposit ranging from 10% to 70% as required. The final payment is due on arrival, with cash being the preferred method.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or online platforms. All payments must be made to company accounts in Tanzania. If a group is making separate payments, the group leader remains financially responsible for the whole trip.
While we strive to follow the agreed itinerary, Wild Queen Discover reserves the right to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as flight delays, weather, strikes, or civil unrest. Additional costs from these changes, such as hotel accommodations, meals, and flight changes, are the client’s responsibility.
Clients may request changes after booking, but amendment fees may apply. If changes result in a cancellation, standard cancellation fees apply. Adding services to an existing booking usually does not incur amendment fees.
Cancellations within 10 days of the tour are non-refundable, with case-by-case exceptions. Cancellations before 10 days will be processed based on the lodge’s refund policy. Exchanges are allowed, but individual tour cancellations are non-refundable.
If the Company cancels a tour due to supplier failures, regulatory changes, or extreme weather conditions, an alternative will be offered, or all land payments will be refunded.
Clients must have travel and medical insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, evacuation, and high-risk activities. Wild Queen Discover is not responsible for clients without adequate insurance coverage.
We reserve the right to terminate a client’s tour without refund if their behavior causes distress, danger, or inconvenience to others. Clients must disclose health and mobility information accurately before booking.
If issues arise during a trip, clients must immediately inform the Company or their guide so corrective action can be taken. Complaints raised after the trip, without giving us a chance to resolve them during the tour, will not be entertained.
Wild Queen Discover is not responsible for delays, schedule changes, or overbookings by third-party providers. Wildlife-related incidents, medical emergencies, political instability, natural disasters, or force majeure events are not the Company’s liability.
By booking with Wild Queen Discover, clients agree to these terms and assume all risks associated with travel.
